My name is Randy Sexton. I am the creator of this website. I was born in Hamilton, Ohio but I was a preacher’s kid, so I moved around a bit. I spent my formative years in the Kansas City area. I graduated from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri with a B.S. in Business Administration and from Rockhurst University with an M.B.A. I spent over 40 years in the field of Supply Chain Management in several different industries. I am now retired and enjoy reading, walking, and spending time with my family and friends.
In the last years of his life, my father edited an electronic bulletin which he e-mailed to individuals. He called it A Christian’s Voice. So when I decided to to launch a blog in 2003, I called it A Christians Voice, in honor of my dad. This site is based firmly on the same foundation that Dad was so passionate about. I strongly believe that I have a responsibility to give voice to the good news of the gospel, to “proclaim it on the housetops” (Mt. 10:27). “I have only my voice” but, as long as the breath of life inhabits my mortal body, I will attempt to imitate the attitude of the great apostle to the Gentiles, “I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls” (2Cor. 12:15).
